BORN: At Siggiewi, Malta in February, 1949 but lived mostly at Birzebbuga and Kalkara.

GRADUATED: In Librarianship, Journalism & Communications, Management, Advertising & Marketing from Diploma to Ph.D. University of Malta and London.

CAREER: In Journalism at the Freedom Press with "Il-Helsien", and he was a sub-editor of “L-Orrizont” at the Union press. As a journalist he reported from several countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, and in 1985 he worked for “The Labour Weekly” in London.

POLITICS: John Zammit was a member of the Labour League of Youth and the Malta Labour Party since the 1960's. He has been an Independent candidate for the Kalkara Local Council election in 1994 and a candidate for the European Parliament election in 2004 for the ALDM, the Malta Liberal Party of which he was a founder. His political talks and articles has been published since the 1960's in several local newspapers. Took part  in several tv and radio programmes , especially about Maltese politics.
