Scottish journalist Mr. John White was in Malta  interviewing Dr. John Zammit - leader of Alleanza Liberali  at their head quarters in Valletta. Mr. White's interview went back to the 1950's and 1960's when John Zammit was a young boy and wanted to know, why John became involved in politics and journalism, and how he was one of Dom Mintoff's "boys" when working at the the Freedom Press, the Malta Labour Party Press in the 1960's.

He also was interested in the connection John Zammit had with Mr. Dom Mintoff and in fact he came to Malta after he heard that Dom Mintoff was serously in danger of losing life at Mater Dei hospital. The interview took from 10 a.m. till Noon and it is going to be an important article on how the Maltese political scene has changed from the 1960's to the present day.
